Netflix Have Confirmed

Firstly, great news! In January 2021, Netflix confirmed that there will be a Bridgerton season 2! Filming will commence for season 2 in Spring 2021. If you don’t know, Bridgerton is based on the first of eight best-selling books by Julia Quinn. She is excited about what is coming up in the next season, knowing what happens in the books! The source material is there and ready to be adapted for the small screen.

What’s Coming Up?

We can expect Anthony Bridgerton to have a larger role in season 2 as the second book is based more around his relationships. Fans of Jonathan Bailey will be happy with that. As well as the stellar cast we should expect new faces to appear to bring characters such as Kate and Edwina to life. Expect the rest of the family we’ve fallen in love with to return, for more betrayal, greed and lust!

Potential Release Dates?

With the success of releasing all episodes on Christmas Day, surely Netflix will be eyeing up the same thing for Bridgerton season 2? Obviously, there might be delays in production due to the global pandemic, but a couple of the stars are hopeful that Bridgerton season 2 will premier at Christmas 2021. It’ll likely arrive on our screens at the end of 2021 or at some point in early 2022.

Finally, wid you watch the first season of Bridgerton? What did you think? Who was your favourite character and which did you relate to the most? In conclusion, whilst we might have to wait a few months for it, based on season one, it’ll be well worth the wait!
