5849376 -- Last week, the Supreme Court struck a major blow to voting rights in North Carolina -- reinstating Thom Tillis' radical anti-voting bill after a lower court had struck it down.1 That means the country's worst voter restrictions are now back on the books for the election three weeks away, in a state that is a must-win. And this is on top of the North Carolina voter-suppression mailer sent by Koch brothers-funded groups, currently under investigation. There's only one way to fight back. Please chip in now to build our grassroots, voter-turnout campaign. Among other things, this decision ends North Carolina's same-day voter registration, which 100,000 voters used in 2012, including twice as many African-Americans as whites. This is the Republican playbook. And we can't let it succeed again. We're working to expand our voter outreach capacity in North Carolina, to reach even more progressive voters and make sure they not only turn out to vote, but that they are prepared to make their vote is count on Election Day. CREDO SuperPAC is even training volunteers to host satellite phone banks in their homes or businesses to accommodate even more volunteers in these final weeks, and reach more voters with crucial voting information. The right to vote has been under attack by conservatives and the Roberts Supreme Court, which laid the groundwork for this attack when it struck down Section 4 of the Voting Rights Act last year. If we don't fight back, the Supreme Court may well have just decided control of the Senate. Please chip in now. Thanks for all you do. Becky Bond, President CREDO SuperPAC 1.
