The email below is from Sarah Burris, a CREDO activist in Washington, DC. Sarah started a petition on org.credoaction.com, where activists can launch their own campaigns for progressive change.
Dear Friend,
I created my own campaign on CREDO's new site that allows activists to start their own petitions.
My petition, which is to MSNBC, asks the following:
Keep Ed Schultz in a prime weekday TV time slot.
Ed Schultz is one of few in the media who support working-class people. In his prominent voice on prime-time MSNBC, we class warriors have had an ally on television for not only our values but our friends and colleagues.
Ed rises above the typical Beltway insider politics to deliver hard-hitting news that gets to the heart of the issue. He speaks for everyday working people, those gathered around the TV at the fire station, the educator who is grading papers while listening, and activists like you and me who tune in each night.
Click here to learn more and add your name to my petition urging MSNBC to keep Ed Schultz in a prime weekday TV time slot.Thank you for your support.
