You signed a petition to show solidarity with striking Walmart workers, now make a call.

Dear Friend,

Thank you for recently taking action to show solidarity with Walmart workers, who have been standing up to management for a safe workplace and a decent standard of living. The response to our campaign so far has been amazing, as over 100,000 CREDO Action members have signed our petition calling on Walmart Chairman of the Board Rob Walton to meet with Walmart workers about their demands for better pay and working conditions.

But our work is not done. We need to keep turning up the pressure as Walmart workers are heading back to the picket line this week.1 We need to show solidarity with those Walmart workers who are striking for a safe workplace and a decent standard of living. Taking action is especially crucial now as our allies are organizing Walmart workers to go on strike today during Walmart's Black Friday sales.

Walmart has set the standard for driving wages down and maximizing profits. Forcing its executive to meet workers at the negotiating table would be a major milestone. It would have reverberations throughout the retail world and be a victory for those who are fighting for higher wages and better working conditions for American workers.

Too often, when workers at Walmart stand up for their rights they are subjected to retaliation and intimidation.2 Walmart's appalling record of treating workers poorly includes blatant disregard for their rights, discrimination against women, and infliction of damage on small businesses and the environment.3

Walmart needs to know that we have those workers' backs on this. Let's show support for those workers who are going to stand up on Black Friday against Walmart on issues related to pay, worker intimidation and retaliation.
